The Time to Cut The Cord Has Arrived!

High cable prices and exorbitant satellite rates have finally crossed the line into the realm of the ridiculous. Yet, many of us continue to pay these costs because television service, and "having something on to watch" has become a near necessity in today's world. I recently joined the ranks of the Cord-Cutters - a quickly growing segment of society that has shunned the cable and satellite companies and has instead opted to stream content wirelessly via the internet. I couldn't be more happy with the choice, and I believe that others would opt for this change if they knew how easy and effective it is! This site is dedicated to providing that information, along with links to necessary equipment and content sites, so that we can once and for all remove the confusion for those who want to take this step. Whoa! Individual Netflix Profiles?! Awesome!

Very cool stuff!  Now each member of your household can have their own Netflix profile within your account.  That means that Netflix will be able to learn your individual likes and dislikes, and will be able to recommend shows and movies that are more specific to your tastes, rather than your kids'!  I'm loving that, and going to set it up for us right now.  Here's more:

    Did they change this again because the last time I checked, separate profiles were only available for DVD accounts. I have both. The streaming views are what is messing up my recommendations....LOL....

    Hi Dianne! Yep they changed it. I went on and built profiles for our kids and us adults, and the recommendations are already looking better. Give it a try and let me know how it turns out. :)
