The BEST PlayOn Scripts!
I'm a big PlayOn user, and I make use of user-created scripts heavily. These simply add additional content that isn't already there in PlayOn's huge channel library. They are awesome for finding shows and/or movies that aren't available on the major streaming services. Beware: Scripts can be unstable and sometimes stop working altogether. For that purpose, I've compiled a list of my favorite working scripts to take the guesswork out of it for you! Enjoy.
- OneChannel: Awesome script with an almost endless selection of TV shows and movies. Look for the putlocker sources - they almost always work perfectly for me. If you get one user-created script, make it this one.
- 5-Star Flicks and TV Shows: Awesome script with tons of great content and excellent quality. It's the one script on here that you'll need to buy - $10.00 to the developer - but it's worth it.
- TV Land: Awesome plug-in that will allow you to get your fix of the old, classic shows that TV Land pumps out 24/7. My favorites are the old "I Love Lucy" episodes (incidentally, also available on Hulu Plus). Great plugin.
- TVLinks: You'll need to register to get to the link, but, again, it's worth it. Great TV script with a huge selection.
- Movies and TV Entertainment from 1channel.ch and watchfreemovies.ch: Long name, but some great content. Actually uses #1 (OneChannel) as a source, so includes a lot of the same sources, including putlocker (my favorite!). Good plugin to have around.

It really is the BEST script because they have massive amounts - but the problem is, sometimes the video hosting links like vidzi, putlocker, will suddenly remove an upload. A good example is a tv show with 5 seasons. You're watching along and suddenly you will get to season 3 episode 2, and that random episode will have been removed....but the rest remain....I run into things like this a lot..But generally, it works well.
ReplyDeleteWow. Which script are you using? 1Channel used to be GREAT but now it is AWFUL - regardless of ISP (I have 2 very fast ones). I can go through 30+ hosters for a show and not be able to get a single one to stream or there is so much buffering and ultimate failure the plugin has become useless. This is on 5 devices using 2 different ISPs. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have used 1Channel for years and it has gotten so bad it is virtually useless now. Thank you! Ed S.
